Life skills are essential for every individual. The life skills of 3-4-year-old preschool children are developed through various forms of education, including thematic role-playing games. However, the effectiveness of this integrated approach varies across preschools. The article explores the current state of life skills education for 3-4-year-old children through thematic role-playing games at Bach Ha Preschool in Phu Xuyen District, Hanoi City. Based on this, it proposes fundamental measures to enhance the effectiveness of this educational activity. The research results indicate that while thematic role-playing is an important educational method in preschool education, the case study at Bach Ha Preschool shows that the outcomes of life skills education for 3-4-year-old children through this approach are only at an average level.
