International integration is driving digital transformation in education, making it an essential trend that has garnered attention and guidance from all levels of leadership. Digital transformation is expected to enhance the quality of education and meet the learning needs of students in the 4.0 era. Therefore, schools need to effectively implement digital transformation activities in teaching and learning. The results show that both administrators and teachers are well aware of the role and importance of digital transformation in teaching. However, besides the achievements, the process of digital transformation still faces some difficulties such as lack of infrastructure and technological equipment, teachers' hesitation in applying technology, limited digital learning resources, and limited application of modern teaching models. To promote digital transformation, public primary schools in District 8 need to focus on investing in infrastructure, improving teachers' digital competence, building a rich and diverse digital learning repository, and promoting the application of information technology in management. It can be said that digital transformation in teaching in District 8 has made encouraging progress. However, to build a modern and effective digital education environment, efforts are needed to overcome difficulties and challenges.
