Resolving psychological conflicts is a very important skill for officers on Navy ships. However, some officers on Vietnam People's Navy ships have difficulty in resolving psychological conflicts occurring in ship units, especially at stressful times when performing combat readiness tasks or going to sea for long periods. One of the main reasons is that they lack the skills to resolve psychological conflicts occurring in ship units. Therefore, the article focuses on clarifying basic concepts such as: skills to resolve psychological conflicts; officers on Navy ships, and skills to resolve psychological conflicts of officers on Navy ships. From there, some basic skills of officers on Navy ships when resolving psychological conflicts in ship units are presented, such as: skills to identify psychological conflicts; skills to analyze the causes of psychological conflicts; skills to select and implement solutions to resolve psychological conflicts on Navy ships. Effective implementation of solutions to help officers on board, especially those who have no experience in resolving psychological conflicts, acquire these skills to maintain a positive and progressive psychological atmosphere on Navy ships; at the same time,
help the team of officers on board understand and master the skills to resolve psychological conflicts, contributing to the successful completion of assigned tasks.
