Tóm tắt
This study was conducted to examine the impact of various aspects of body image on self-efficacy among education students. In the current social context, where physical appearance and aesthetic standards are increasingly emphasized through social media platforms, body image-related pressures have become widespread, especially among young people. At the same time, high expectations regarding confidence and communication skills in education students further intensify the influence of body image on their personal and professional development. With the rapid growth of media and social networks, body image has emerged as a significant factor, particularly for students in teacher education programs. The study employed two measurement scales: (1) the Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnair Appearance Scales (MBSRQ-AS), and (2) a self-efficacy scale. Data were collected via an online survey with 520 participants from teacher training universities. Among the components, “Appearance Evaluation” had the strongest impact. These findings provide a scientific basis for developing intervention programs aimed at improving body image and enhancing self efficacy, thereby contributing to the holistic development of education students.
