Education of historical and cultural traditions for students has a very important position and meaning in the work of educating students' ideology and ethics, helping them to form traditional cultural values in their personality; especially in the era of national development, forming those values for students is always topical and urgent. The content of the article focuses on clarifying the position and importance of education of historical and cultural traditions for students; from there, it summarizes and analyzes some basic educational contents such as: ardent patriotism; will for independence, self-reliance, self-strengthening; solidarity, mutual love and affection; hard work, creativity and aspiration for development. Research results show that, to help students transform educational contents into traditional cultural values in their personality, it requires the educational subject of the school to implement well some basic solutions such as: creating consensus on the awareness of management levels in education; selecting appropriate content for students to propagate and educate; and regularly innovating methods, forms and using a variety of educational means, in order to create new effectiveness in educating students' personalities, contributing to improving the quality and training of the school in the era of national development.
