Thích ứng thang đo đa chiều về gắn kết trường học rút gọn (MSES-V/SF-16) ở học sinh trung học phổ thông Việt Nam: Một nghiên cứu tại tỉnh Bắc Ninh
Tóm tắt
School engagement is an important factor affecting students’ academic achievement and social development. The objective of this study was to adapt a shortened Vietnamese version of the Multidimensional School Engagement Scale (MSES) to measure school engagement and disengagement in Vietnamese high school students. The study used a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods. The quantitative study conducted a study at a public high school, with 183 valid survey forms. The results of exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) showed that the shortened 16-item version (MSES-V/SF-16) had a four-factor structure: emotional engagement, behavioral engagement, behavioral disengagement, and social disengagement. The reliability, convergent, and discriminant tests all met the requirements. The MSES-V/SF-16 is a tool with potential applications in academic research and educational practice in Vietnam.
