Vietnam is in the period of accelerating industrialization, modernization and international integration, education and training are directly related to the task of preparing human resources, especially high-quality human resources to accomplish the set goals. In that context, the quality management of teacher training using the AUN-AQ approach is a very important and necessary insight for higher education institutions, contributing to improving training quality and international integration. However, the quality management of teacher training in general and primary school teacher training in particular in pedagogical colleges/universities currently has not been given due attention, and effective solutions are needed to provide high-quality training for primary school teachers to meet societal needs. This study focuses on analyzing and assessing the current situation, thereby proposing some solutions to contribute to the innovation of training quality management for primary school teachers according to the AUN-QA approach. The proposed solutions need to be promptly tested to prove its effectiveness.
