President Ho Chi Minh’s Political Common Sense represents a paradigmatic example of the localization and dissemination of Marxist-Leninist theory adapted to the specific historical and socio-political context of Vietnam during the struggle against colonial and imperial domination. Employing clear, accessible language, Ho Chi Minh systematically articulated core theoretical constructs such as historical materialism, the proletariat’s revolutionary role, the objectives of the national democratic revolution, and foundational principles for constructing a new-type Marxist party. This study undertakes a critical analysis of the pedagogical strategies employed in the text to effectively convey MarxistLeninist doctrine - particularly the integration of theory with domestic and international realities, the emphasis on praxis (the unity of theory and practice), and the cultivation of critical engagement through reflective learning. From this analysis, the paper identifies significant pedagogical insights with practical implications for the contemporary teaching of political theory. These insights contribute to advancing the ongoing reform of political-ideological education in accordance with the orientations set forth in Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW, aimed at strengthening the political competence and ideological steadfastness of Party cadres and members in the current era of national construction and defense.
