Vietnam has implemented the digital transformation process in many fields to adapt to the strong development of science and technology in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. The field of education and training is one of the areas prioritized by the state to implement digital transformation. In particular, music education with its own characteristics and requirements for professional communication methods and digital transformation has created great challenges for lecturers. The article analyzes the current situation and proposes solutions to exploit content on digital platforms, selectively using new technologies to deploy smart teaching forms through technology and digital platforms combined with traditional training methods to apply Guitar teaching. The results of this research can be applied to other music practice subjects in the music education student training program at Faculty of Arts, Hanoi University of Education, towards digital transformation into music education.
