Criminal investigation is a specialized training field of the People's Public Security Forces. The People's Public Security Academy, the People's Public Security University, the People's Police Academy, and the People's Public Security University are four criminal investigation police in the national education system that are allowed to deploy training in criminal investigation at university level according to the decision of the Ministry of Education and Training. However, from the reality of training in criminal investigation in the People's Public Security academies and universities in the past, it shows that, besides the advantages, there are still many difficulties and shortcomings, from the stages of developing training plans, organizing training, to developing the teaching staff, and organizing preparation of conditions. This article presents some theoretical issues on the management of criminal investigation training in the People's Public Security academies and universities. The research results are the basis for understanding the current situation as well as proposing measures to enhance the effectiveness of management of criminal investigation training activities in the People's Public Security academies and universities in the coming time.
