Against the backdrop of continuously developing digital technology, digital competence and the need to develop digital competence for students in general, and especially for teacher training students, is a crucial and essential requirement. Selecting and organizing training action plays a crucial role in shaping and developing students' competencies, especially for students in teacher training programs. This not only helps them access learning content more effectively but also creates opportunities for practical and sustainable professional development. Using a systematic approach that analyzes domestic and international literature, this paper examines the concept and structure of digital competence for teacher training students. Furthermore, based on an analysis of several training models implemented in various countries and the approaches of scientists worldwide, the paper proposes directions for applying 06 measures in the context of the current digital transformation of education in Vietnam. These measures have been proven feasible and effective in developing digital competence for teacher training students.
