Digital transformation plays a particularly important role and has become an inevitable trend in the context of rapid scientific and technological development, posing a comprehensive innovation requirement for early childhood education. This paper uses a systematization and theoretical analysis method to build a theoretical basis for the concept, requirements, and conditions for implementing digital transformation in early childhood education. Simultaneously, through surveys using questionnaires and direct interviews with administrators and teachers at several public preschools in Ho Chi Minh City, the study clarifies the current state of digital transformation implementation, which is assessed as "fairly good." Based on this, the paper proposes six measures to improve the effectiveness of digital transformation implementation in early childhood education. The research results show that digital transformation in early childhood education has seen positive changes, but still needs to be promoted synchronously in terms of awareness, competence, and implementation conditions.
