Managing psychological counseling is important for supporting learners and coordinating resources in vocational education institutions. This study examined the management of psychological counseling for students at Ho Chi Minh City College of Architecture and Construction through a cross-sectional descriptive design, combining a survey of 121 participants with semi-structured interviews involving eight participants. The findings showed strong awareness of the importance of management, while planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and improvement were generally rated at a moderate level. Career counseling received greater attention, whereas mental health care, stakeholder coordination, and early support remained limited. The study therefore proposes improving planning, coordination mechanisms, staff competence, implementation conditions, and the use of evaluation results for improvement. The findings provide additional empirical evidence and a practical basis for strengthening the management of psychological counseling in colleges.
