In the context of implementing the 2018 General Education Program, enhancing students’ interest in Music is crucial for the development of their musical abilities and qualities. However, teaching practice shows that many Music lessons still focus on rote memorization, with few opportunities for students to experience, practice, and create. This research uses analytical, synthetic, and systematic methods to develop teaching methods suitable for the psychological characteristics of 5th-grade students, aiming to improve their interest in Music. The research results propose three measures: Developing students’ musical appreciation through movement and body percussion; Diversifying song performance in 5th-grade Music teaching; This study examines the organization of learning games in teaching Music to 5th graders. The methods are designed according to the Joyful Learning model, incorporating modern music education perspectives to enhance students’ experiences, active participation, and enthusiasm for learning. The research results contribute to supplementing the theoretical basis and providing practical suggestions for teachers in organizing 5th grade Music lessons oriented towards developing qualities and competencies.
