Tóm tắt

In the context of current educational reform, developing primary students’ self-protection skills against abuse risks is an urgent priority. This study evaluated the effectiveness of a self-protection skills program for primary students in Phu Tho province, involving experts, administrators, teachers, students, and parents, mainly using observation and survey methods. Results indicate that most students achieved basic competencies: avoiding high-risk individuals, staying away from unsafe places, and responding appropriately to unsafe physical contact. The analysis also shows that female students demonstrate higher self-protection skills than males. Based on these findings, the study proposes measures to improve program effectiveness and strengthen students’ self-protection capacity.
