Tóm tắt

An employability assessment tool based on the Employability Capital Growth Model was constructed by Pham et al. (2025). However, this tool remains in its preliminary stage, and expert feedback has not yet been solicited to examine its content validity as guided by Carpenter (2018). This paper presents the process of collecting feedback from 20 experts to refine the assessment tool through two steps: an online survey and focus group interviews. Twenty experts who participated in the study were divided into four groups: lecturers, employers, alumni, and students. These experts evaluated the suitability of the assessment tool via a Google Forms before taking part in group interviews, which were conducted face-to-face for the student group and online for the other three groups. The survey results indicated that 19 items were deemed appropriate, while 31 items required modification. Following the interviews, the assessment tool was revised to enhance its initial content validity and practical applicability. In the next stage, a large-scale survey involving students can be conducted for further refinement and finalization of the assessment tool in line with the steps suggested by Carpenter (2018).
