Giải pháp lồng ghép bình đẳng giới trong đào tạo giáo viên STEM đáp ứng Chương trình Giáo dục phổ thông 2018

In the context of implementing the 2018 General Education Program and the need to promote gender equality in education, training STEM teachers capable of organizing equitable and inclusive teaching is becoming an urgent requirement in Vietnam. However, gender equality content in current STEM teacher training programs has not yet been systematically integrated. This study aims to analyze the theoretical basis of gender-sensitive STEM education, clarify the requirements for STEM teacher training, and propose solutions for integrating gender equality into teacher training institutions. The study uses a method of document analysis, synthesis, and comparison of educational policies, UNESCO and OECD documents, and international experiences on STEM teacher training that meet gender equality standards. The research results propose seven groups of solutions: integrating gender equality into learning outcomes; integrating it into training programs; developing the capacity of teacher trainers; innovating training methods; developing gender-sensitive STEM learning materials; innovating the assessment of STEM teacher competencies; and establishing a network to support female STEM professionals. These solutions support innovation in teacher training, promote gender equality in STEM education, and meet the requirements for developing high-quality human resources in the context of digital transformation.
