Tóm tắt

In the context of higher education aiming towards applicability and integration, experiential learning is an effective approach adopted by many universities. However, previous studies often utilized traditional analytical tools and have yet to fully assess the role of “reflection”. This study was conducted to address the aforementioned gap. By utilizing the PLS-SEM tool to analyze data from 134 students at the School of Hospitality and Tourism - Hue University, it was revealed that experiential learning has a positive impact on: (1) knowledge integration, (2) skill development, (3) reflection, and (4) students' learning motivation, with the impact on “reflection” being a notable new finding. Therefore, the study affirms the significance of experiential learning in higher education training, suggesting innovations in teaching methods towards practicality, centering on the learner, while also emphasizing the connection between schools, businesses, and the community in developing high-quality tourism human resources.
