The rapid development of information and communication technologies and social media in the contemporary context has profoundly affected human life, particularly on children. Alongside the benefits they offer, these technologies have given rise to emerging problems that significantly influence children’s physical and psychological development, among which online sexual abuse has become a prominent issue. This situation requires schools to implement preventive educational activities for students in order to enhance their selfprotection capacities, support their adaptation, and foster personal development in the digital environment. This study reveals that the current status of online sexual abuse prevention education for lower secondary school students in Dien Bien Province has received attention; however, most educational contents are implemented at a moderate level. There is a correlation between the level of implementation and the effectiveness of implementation across most content areas. School administrators, teachers, and students demonstrate relatively consistent evaluations of the majority of these contents. The findings provide a practical basis for educational managers and teachers in the surveyed region to refer to when designing and implementing appropriate measures for online sexual abuse prevention education for lower secondary school students, thereby improving the effectiveness of self-protection education and helping students adapt to ongoing social changes in the current context.
