Tóm tắt

Artificial intelligence (AI) is creating new opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of early intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This review synthesizes existing research on the application of AI in early intervention, with the aim of systematizing its major applications, analyzing its opportunities and challenges, and identifying future research directions in this field. The study employed a literature review combined with content analysis of publications retrieved from international databases. The findings indicate that AI has been applied to early detection and screening, assessment, intervention support, progress monitoring, and the personalization of intervention programs. Although AI has improved early identification, supported decision-making, and expanded access to intervention services, its application continues to face challenges related to data quality, model explainability, data privacy and security, algorithmic bias, and governance frameworks. The findings provide a valuable reference for future research and the practical application of AI in early intervention for children with ASD.
