National defense and security education is a strategic guideline of our Party and State. In the recent years, under the leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the Central Council for National Defense and Security Education, Political Academy has thoroughly grasped and organized 115 courses of fostering national defense and security knowledge for 7.911 cadres at agency and department levels and equivalents of Central and Ministerial agencies and sectors, contributing to affirming the position, prestige and quality in the field training of the Academy. In the time to come, in order to fulfill the task of national defense and security education, Political Academy needs to continuously strengthen the leadership and direction of the Academy Party Committee and Board of Directors, and Party committees and commanders at all levels for the task of national defense and security education; always stick to reality, enhance the reform of teaching content and methods; properly perform work of management and investment in infrastructure, teaching equipment and aids, together with building a healthy and substantive educational environment.
