Building green development models is an inevitable trend stemming from sustainable development among universities aiming to create a green culture and lifestyle for the community inside and outside the campus. This paper discusses the pilot construction of a green dormitory model in university by implementing a green living style for the dormitory community. Based on previous research, the author proposes a self-management green living model in the dormitory based on sustainability, efficiency, and spreadability standards. Applying the trial model to the dormitory at the university and demonstrating its effectiveness can serve as a foundation for replicating the model in other university facilities or building larger-scale models such as green lecture halls or sustainable universities in Vietnam.
