The strong impact of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has been forming a production-service background based on the latest achievements of science and technology. In that process, the role and position of thinking activities in general and technical-technological thinking in particular are increasingly being promoted to truly become a spearhead research field of the training process and develop a team of professional human resources. The article analyzes the issues and contents related to the science of thought and the development of technical-technological thinking. The creative application of theories and methods of developing technical and technological thinking in technical and technological education has an increasingly important and urgent role and position.
