Kiểm định sau trung học của Hoa Kỳ và một số giá trị tham khảo cho giáo dục nghề nghiệp tại Việt Nam
Tóm tắt
Accreditation and quality assurance in education have become increasingly important in Vietnam, as the education system continues to develop and needs alignment with international standards. This study was conducted to explore and draw valuable insights from the U.S. post-secondary accreditation system for vocational education and training in Vietnam. Document analysis method as a form of qualitative research was employed for this study. The study reveals that Vietnam can adopt certain aspects of the U.S. accreditation system to improve its own accreditation policies and quality assurance mechanisms in vocational education and training. This will ensure that Vietnam’s relevant regulations become more consistent, aligned, and accurately reflect the quality of vocational education and training. The research confirms the varying concepts of accreditation and the scope of related policies across different countries. Future research should focus on an in-depth analysis of the criteria, standards, and accreditation processes of several independent accreditation organizations in the U.S., aiming to extract valuable lessons for Vietnam to enhance the quality of its vocational education and training system.
