Tóm tắt
Developing legal thinking and legal reasoning skills for students is one of the goals and output standards for the undergraduate law training program. Currently, legal reasoning skills become core skills for career development in law practice of new graduates in the context of the 4.0 technology revolution. However, in the current law training program, there is a lack of subjects on legal thinking or legal reasoning skills. This study shows that in legal education in countries around the world, attention is paid to subjects that equip students with legal thinking such as “legal system and legal argumentation”, “legal research, analysis and writing”, and “analytical and critical thinking skills”. This has helped law students to have independent thinking, be critical, have their own opinions, and know how to make legal arguments about life issues. Therefore, in the undergraduate law training program at the Academy of Justice, it is necessary to add legal thinking courses and integrating training in legal thinking into specialized subjects to develop the legal reasoning skills of law students, improve the quality of training and meet the practical requirements of the legal profession in the current context.
