Life skills education for students is always an urgent requirement, aiming to increase their adaptability to a changing life. Especially, in the context of current general education innovation, life skills education aims to realize the goal of developing necessary competences, especially action competence and practical capacity for students. For primary school students, life skills education is very meaningful, helping them to be confident in learning, self-reliant in social relationships, bold and confident while participating in activities, recognizing dangerous situations and knowing how to stay away or stay safe. The survey results using questionnaires for 195 managers and teachers in primary schools in Chau Thanh district, Tay Ninh province show that the level of implementation of life skills education for students is uneven, mainly at the level of occasional implementation and average results; the forms and methods of organizing life skills education activities are quite diverse but the results are not high... This situation is the basis for proposing management measures to improve the effectiveness of these activities in primary schools in the study area.
