The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic has forced many schools to shift from traditional physical learning to online education. Such abrupt changes challenge most teachers due to the lack of online teaching experience, thorough preparation, or support from educational technology teams. This study shows that, with the flipped classroom model, teachers can maintain good control over the teaching and learning process, be aware of the general level of understanding of the class, and easily share and interact with students. At the same time, this model has helped to solve many issues in online teaching such as unfocused learners; control over students’ active learning time in class; maintaining excitement and motivation for learners through games. The model proposed by the author is a suggestion for teachers not only at the higher education level but also at all levels of education from primary to high school in innovating online teaching methods.
