Phát triển năng lực giảng dạy của giảng viên tiếng Anh theo hướng tiếp cận PDCA: Kinh nghiệm của một số quốc gia châu Á và bài học đối với Việt Nam

In the context of globalization and the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which are creating strong changes in the field of education, improving the teaching competence of English teachers has become an urgent requirement to meet the demand for training high-quality human resources. The article focuses on analyzing the development of teaching competence of English teachers according to the PDCA model (Plan-Do-Check-Act) - an effective quality management method, which is widely applied in education in some countries such as China, Korea and Japan. From there, lessons are drawn for Vietnamese universities in developing the teaching competence of English teachers, meeting the requirements of innovation in higher education and international integration. The study was conducted on the basis of theory and practice on teaching capacity of English teachers, on the PCDA model; referring to a number of related scientific works at home and abroad. This study provides an important theoretical and practical foundation for further studies to develop, evaluate and improve English teachers' teaching competence according to the PDCA model, and at the same time opens up directions for comparative, extended and applied research in other fields.
