Thực trạng và đề xuất biện pháp tạo hứng thú học trực tuyến môn Tiếng Anh cho sinh viên Trường Cao đẳng Sơn La

In the context of rapid digital transformation, online learning has become an inevitable trend in many educational institutions, including Son La College. However, this mode of learning still faces numerous challenges, especially for practice-oriented subjects such as English, which require frequent interaction and sustained learning motivation. In reality, many students struggle to adapt to this form of learning, often becoming passive and experiencing reduced learning effectiveness. This study investigates the current situation of student engagement and interest in online English learning at Son La College. The findings reveal that students’ learning interest remains limited, as shown by low levels of participation, a lack of proactive interaction, and difficulty maintaining concentration. Key influencing factors include teaching methods, levels of interaction, quality of learning materials, and students’ individual learning conditions. Based on the survey results, several measures are proposed to enhance student engagement and interest in online English learning, thereby contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning in the online environment and opening up new directions for research on learning motivation in the digital era.
