Ứng dụng ChatGPT trong giáo dục đại học: Cơ hội, thách thức và một số khuyến nghị

Based on the theory of social constructivist learning and the trend of digital transformation in global education, ChatGPT is seen as not only an information provider but also a learning partner, supporting the formation of critical and creative thinking for learners. With outstanding advantages in terms of access to rich data sources, the ability to filter, analyze, and comment on issues, ChatGPT has made great contributions to the development of higher education. The article focuses on analyzing the role, opportunities, and challenges of applying ChatGPT to higher education in Vietnam, thereby providing some recommendations for applying ChatGPT in higher education to overcome the limitations when students apply ChatGPT in learning and bring about optimal efficiency. The results of the paper show that, in the context of Vietnam, the application of ChatGPT in higher education has favorable opportunities such as the national digital transformation strategy, the rapid popularity of AI technology, and the need for personalized learning that are promoting the integration of ChatGPT into teaching and learning. However, this process also faces many challenges such as the lack of a legal framework, concerns about academic ethics, digital divide, and digital competence of lecturers and students.
