Tóm tắt

Sustainable development is an inevitable trend today in which greening technical and vocational education and training (TVET) curriculum plays an important role in contributing to ‘green’ human resources for social and economic development. This study explores the concept of greening TVET curriculum through integrating sustainable development in to TVET curriculum with green technology, clean technology, green jobs, greening existing professions as the main content. The study also presents some key issues when implementing TVET for sustainable development based on experience lessons from developed countries such as: Establishing criteria for  greening TVET curriculum assessment, adding criteria related to green skills and green jobs in the output standards, forecasting green job development trends and demand for green skills of the economy, etc. The research would serve as a reference for researchers on sustainable education in vocational training as well as possibly suggesting some ideas in management at TVET institutions.
