Vocational training in the direction of developing learners' capacity is an inevitable trend in this current period in Vietnam. In that general context, the training of teachers in general and primary school teachers in particular also needs to alter to meet the requirements of society. This article presents a new approach in training math teachers in primary schools - an appropriate process and organizational form to develop students' competency to organize experiential activities in teaching mathematics at elementary school. Through the organization of experiential learning activities, students' teaching skills are enhanced while having a better understanding of the process of teaching Mathematics in primary schools.
