Tóm tắt

In the context of fundamental and comprehensive educational innovation, digital competence plays an extremely important role for students. There are quite a few models in the world that allow measuring and evaluating digital capabilities, but they are not fully compatible with local conditions in Vietnam. This study contributes to addressing the challenges associated with assessing the digital competence of students from many universities and fields. The research results show that the scales used in international studies can also be applied to the Vietnamese context. The study used a quantitative scale to assess the digital competence of Vietnamese students in 2021, an educational period strongly affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, requiring the use of digital learning tools. Specifically, this scale includes common university-level skills such as interpreting and applying information, exploiting digital tools and computers, online communication, and effective visual aids exploiting. The research would be a useful resource, contributing to the development of digital skills to improve students' ability to study and work in the digital age.
