Các yếu tố chi phối năng lực tự học của sinh viên ngành Giáo dục mầm non trong học phần “Phương pháp tổ chức hoạt động tạo hình cho trẻ mầm non”
Tóm tắt
This study aimed to identify the factors influencing the self-study competence of Early Childhood Education students within the course “Methods of Organizing Visual Arts Activities for Preschool Children” and to examine the relative contribution of these factors in the regression model. A mixed-methods design was employed, combining a questionnaire survey of 140 students at the National College for Education with supplementary assessments from 10 instructors teaching the course. Data were statistically processed using SPSS 27.0 software, utilizing descriptive statistics, Cronbach’s Alpha reliability testing, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed a mean self-study competence score of 2.45 on the five-point scale, revealing a notable gap between students’ positive attitudes and their ability to plan and execute self-study activities. The regression results showed that “instructor teaching methods” (beta = 0.345, p < 0.001) and “student learning determination” (beta = 0.320, p < 0.001) had the highest standardized regression coefficients among the statistically significant factors. Based on these empirical findings, the study proposes solutions to enhance student autonomy and self-study competence within the context of the visual arts activity organization course.
