Vietnam is promoting the cause of industrialization, modernization and international economic integration, in the international and domestic context with many rapid and complicated developments. This sets out requirements to create a peaceful and stable environment to perform the task of building the all-people national defense posture in association with the people's security posture in key and important areas to meet the requirements of building and preserving defending the Socialist Fatherland in the new situation. The article states the current situation and proposes solutions to build the all-people defense posture in association with the people's security posture in Son La province. The construction of the all-people national defense posture associated with the people's security posture has an important position, role and significance, especially for areas with important geostrategic positions in national security, sovereignty, national borders like Son La province in the current period to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
