Getting psychological support to relieve anxiety, stress and find ways to solve difficulties is a necessary need of university students. This article focuses on investigating the current situation of psychological counseling management for students at private universities in Ho Chi Minh City through the main method of surveying using questionnaires and supplementary methods such as document analysis, interviews, and statistical methods. The article analyzed the current situation based on the functions of management and concluded that the management of psychological counseling activities for university students in Ho Chi Minh City is evaluated by the surveyed participants as being at an acceptable level, but not yet at a good level. Research results show that the content of managing psychological counseling activities for students needs to have reasonable impact measures in the future.
