Currently, the issue of children's rights is a major concern not only for each country but for the entire society. The future of each country and nation depends heavily on the protection, care and education of children. The study uses document analysis and primary statistical data to understand the awareness of parents and adolescent children about children's rights and evaluate the implementation of children's rights in the family. Data were collected from questionnaire interviews with 340 pairs of parents and children aged 10-17 and 30 qualitative interviews in one ward and one commune in Hai Phong city. Research results show that the majority of parents in the survey area have a relatively good understanding of children's rights stemming from awareness of parental responsibility and ethics. Regarding the exercise of rights, most children agree that parents show a high level of concern about children's rights to education, care and health care, but do not pay much attention to the rights associated with the psychological and physiological characteristics of minors such as the right to participate, the right to access information, and the right to entertainment. The article is important to help policymakers and managers make comprehensive decisions, suggest effective ways to educate their children for parents, and ensure full implementation for children.
