School administrators take on an important role in orienting and leading the school to complete its tasks and achieve its set goals. To do this, administrators need to be equipped with a system of appropriate competencies and qualities, in which the ability to solve managerial situations is one of the core competencies to support school administrators in resolving emerging situations and maintaining a stable working environment, ultimately improving the quality and efficiency of the unit's operations. The article presents the results of a survey of the current situation of situation-solving competency of managers at some general education institutions in some southern provinces. The survey results provide an important practical basis for building plans and training content to develop the capacity to solve management situations for high school management staff in accordance with the current context.
