Developing situation-solving competence in management for school managers ensures that they are provided with the conditions and opportunities to practise the necessary competences and attributes to perform management tasks. The article presents a competence framework for solving management situations, thereby proposing measures to develop the competence to solve management situations for high school administrators to meet the requirements of educational innovation. Research results show that developing the competence to solve management situations is a process of training, fostering, increasing the system of competence to solve situations, and at the same time equipping and enriching the competence and necessary qualities that help managers proactively and promptly resolve situations that arise in management and administration activities.
