Tóm tắt

Teachers at intervention centers often face high work intensity and significant psychological pressure, which can easily lead to job burnout, thereby increasing the risk of psychological distress. This study aims to explore the moderating role of perceived social support in the relationship between job burnout and psychological distress among teachers at intervention centers in Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City. A quantitative design is employed, using a cross-sectional survey of 78 teachers. The study utilizes the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (CBI) to assess job burnout, the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10) for psychological distress, and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) to measure perceived social support. Regression analysis results show that job burnout was positively correlated with psychological distress, and perceived social support played a significant moderating role in this relationship. These findings contribute to clarifying the mechanism through which job burnout impacts mental health and suggest that enhancing perceived social support may serve as an effective protective strategy in psychological intervention programs for teachers.
