Nhu cầu và phương pháp hỗ trợ của cha mẹ có con rối loạn phổ tự kỉ: Một nghiên cứu lí luận
Tóm tắt
Autism spectrum disorder has become an issue that attracts more attention in the world and in Vietnam. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that the incidence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) has changed rapidly from 1 in 150 in 2000 to 1 in 44 in 2018 (CDC, 2022). Family plays an important role in caring for, nurturing and educating children. Parents of children with autism encounter many different difficulties, so they have needs to change the current situation in the process of caring for and raising children. The study below focuses on analyzing and synthesizing research related to the needs of parents of children with autism and some methods to support them. What stands out are the needs for support in child rearing and care methods, and psychosocial support. Support methods are also offered to suit the above needs, focusing on providing psychological coping strategies, psychological support programs, providing DVD activities and skills education for parents. This study will contribute to the theoretical basis for conducting further research on support services for families of children with autism. Support services will be designed based on the practical needs of parents.
