Tóm tắt

STEM education is currently being widely popularized to preschools because of its suitability and advantages. The article proposed the process of designing patterning activities for children 4-5 years old according to STEM approach. The design process can be used in other Math familiarization activities such as shape recognition, numbers,... However, the design and organization of educational activities according to STEM approach should only be implemented after the child has formed the necessary knowledge and skills. Using questionnaires to assess the quality of educational design, survey results of 24 teachers at two kindergartens in Hanoi city, the results show that teachers appreciate the lesson plan. The action plan includes the form, content, suitability, feasibility, and effectiveness of these designs.
