Các yếu tố sư phạm ảnh hưởng đến động cơ học tập của sinh viên Trường Đại học Cần Thơ

Higher education is one of the factors with a decisive role in labor productivity and human resources quality in every country, especially developing countries like Vietnam. There have been numerous studies aimed at finding the root problems and factors affecting the quality of tertiary education. Among these factors, it would be a miss not to mention the learner factor. This article introduces a study on pedagogical factors affecting learning motivation of students at Can Tho University. The authors conducted a survey with 321 full-time university students from 13 training faculties. The research results point out four factors that have the greatest impact on gradually hampering students’ learning motivation: the difference between university education and general education; less exciting teaching and learning activities; academic knowledge-overloading training program and inadequacies in evaluating course results. From these results, the authors propose some measures to improve learning motivation, enhancing students’ learning efficiency and the school’s training quality.
