Coherent speech is a complex verbal activity with significant implications for the development of young children. For 5-6-year-old preschool children, coherent speech not only satisfies their communication needs but also serves as a key condition for successful learning in elementary schools later on. Therefore, the development of coherent speech for children is of great significance and requires further attention. This study aims to provide the process for preschool teachers in integrating coherent speech development for 5-6-year-old preschool children through storytelling in learning activities at the preschool. The primary method used in the article is the theoretical research method. The research results of the article can be useful suggestions to help early childhood educators improve and enhance the quality of language education, particularly in developing coherent speech for preschool children.
