Narrative text is one of the most commonly used types of text for teaching Literature at school. Research on multimedia narrative has a vast scope, which points out the narrative nature in different media types and, more importantly, in a text expressed through multiple media channels. Researching and applying multimedia in narrative texts is a useful method to improve the corpus system of this text type in teaching the text reception aspect in Literature. This article presents a theoretical system on the feasibility and potential methods to apply multimedia narrative texts in teaching Literature in general, particularly in teaching reading comprehension in high school. The results of the study showed that when using comprehensive reading in primary schools, the deployment of self-propelled multimedia texts such as official or supplementary texts has great potential and high effectiveness.
