Puzzle activity is a very interesting form of cognitive, motor, creative activity, suitable for preschool children, opening up many opportunities for children to see, search, explore, create, observe and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature as well as creative artistic products. Understanding of nature, love of nature is also the condition to help children's observation skills work actively, the symbolic and figurative capital is thus richer, creative ideas in puzzle activities will easily develop. From a number of theoretical issues, the article proposes a number of measures to develop observation skills for preschool children through organizing puzzle activities from natural materials. It can be affirmed that puzzle activities from natural materials bring many benefits to the comprehensive development of preschool children such as developing creative thinking, nurturing love of nature, helping children relax, developing observation skills and problem solving. This activity not only helps children develop their intelligence and skills but also helps them form a positive personality and awareness of the world around them.
