Holiday and festival activities in preschools not only create a fun and entertaining environment for children but are also an effective form of integrated education, contributing to the synchronous development of physical, cognitive, linguistic, aesthetic and social-emotional areas. The article provides an overview of the preschool teacher training program, and surveys the current situation of improving the competency to organize these activities for students majoring in preschool education, Hanoi Capital University. Based on these results, the article also proposes specific measures to improve the capacity to organize holidays and festivals for students, helping them better prepare for practical teaching work. The research results will provide useful information, supporting schools in building appropriate training programs, meeting the increasing requirements of preschool education today
