Experiential education is an educational method that promotes learners' positivity, self-discipline, and autonomy, helping learners acquire knowledge and develop abilities and qualities based on learners' existing experiences. One of the modern educational solutions that help maximize learners' abilities is to organize experiential activities in real-life situations. The essence of experiential learning is learning by doing and reflecting. This is also a basic feature of the “child-centered” educational method. Currently, preschools in Vietnam have begun to focus on improving children's operational competence through their own experiences. Therefore, this article discusses the application of David Allen Kolb's stages of experiential education in organizing purposeful activities for Kindergarten children to scientifically explore. Research results show that applying David Allen Kolb's stages of experiential education helps improve the quality of education and form independence, thinking competence, and problem-solving competence for preschool children in general and 5-6 year old preschoolers in particular.
