“Hiện tượng Quiet Quitting”: Góc nhìn giáo dục và định hướng nghề nghiệp cho sinh viên và lao động trẻ “Thế hệ Z” tại Việt Nam

Quiet Quitting (QQ) - the phenomenon of employees working at the bare minimum, fulfilling only assigned tasks without willingness to contribute beyond expectations - has emerged as a significant trend in the study and work environments of Generation Z. This trend is particularly evident among final-year students and young workers in Vietnam as they transition from the education system to the labor market. Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), this study focuses on identifying the factors affecting QQ and analyzing the role of education, career orientation, and soft skills development in fostering positive career behaviors among Generation Z students. The findings indicate that individual factors (career awareness, adaptability), organizational factors (organizational culture, corporate support), and external factors (orientation from family and educational institutions) all play crucial roles in shaping QQ behaviors. Based on these findings, the study proposes solutions to enhance career orientation education and equip students with essential career skills, helping them better adapt to the working environment and reduce QQ tendencies from their time at university.
