In the traditional educational environment, teachers, students, managers, and other stakeholders in the education field should have no difficulty in identifying and building a school culture. However, in the current digital transformation era, when the form of teaching and learning is shifting from a “physical classroom model” to a “virtual classroom” one, the building of school culture could be confusing. The tendency of online learning and working poses a multitude of problems that confront teachers, students and school managers for effective solutions. School culture in digital transformation period also possesses very different characteristics and principles from the traditional educational environment. From the perspective of school management, leaders need to pay attention to the core values that creates the school's significance as well as shapes the values of society in the future. That is the challenge of building school culture in ‘new conditions’.
